WappyHQ

Privacy Policy

Last updated September 20, 2026

This policy describes how WappyHQ, operated by William Thomas Renaud ("Wappy Flanker") and based in Henderson, Nevada, collects and uses information when you use wappyflanker.com (the "Service").

1. What we collect

  • Account information: your email address, display name, and a securely hashed password — or, if you choose "Continue with Google," the basic profile info Google shares for sign-in. We never see or store your Google password.
  • Content you post: community posts, comments, poll votes, site-wide and per-streamer chat messages, direct messages, and any images or clips you upload.
  • Kick account link (optional): if you connect your Kick account from the Account page, we store your Kick username, numeric user ID, and an encrypted access/refresh token so you can send messages as yourself in a streamer's mirrored chat.
  • Technical data: standard web server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps) generated automatically by normal server operation.

2. How we use it

We use this information to:

  • Operate the Service — authenticate you, and show your posts and messages where you'd expect
  • Keep each stream's live status, viewer count, and chat mirror up to date
  • Moderate content and enforce our Terms of Service
  • Respond to you if you contact us for support

Public posts, comments, and chat messages are visible to anyone visiting the Service. Direct messages are visible only to the people in that conversation, plus administrators if needed to investigate abuse.

3. Cookies

We use a single functional cookie to keep you signed in between visits. We don't use advertising cookies, and we don't run any third-party analytics or tracking scripts on the Service.

4. Third-party services

Live status, viewer counts, and stream thumbnails are fetched from Kick's public API. Each stream's chat mirror reads that streamer's real, public Kick chatroom directly — no data of yours is involved just by reading it. If you choose to connect your own Kick account or sign in with Google, that exchange happens directly with Kick or Google through their own OAuth sign-in flow, and is also subject to their respective privacy policies.

5. We don't sell your data

We don't sell or rent your personal information to third parties, and we never will.

6. Data retention & your choices

We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active. You can update your password from the Account page or disconnect a linked Kick account at any time. To request a copy or deletion of your data, email us at wappyflanker@gmail.com — we'll handle it directly since the Service doesn't yet have a self-service deletion option.

7. Security

Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing (never in plain text), and any Kick account tokens are encrypted at rest. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for users 18 and older and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision.
